What’s the difference between HEP and RTM?

Modified on Tue, 24 Sep at 8:37 PM

In the case of neuromusculoskeletal rehab, HEPs (home exercise plans) are a part of RTM (Remote Therapeutic Monitoring) program. HEPs do not need to be digital and are uni-directional (1. Doctor gives HEP to patient. 2. Patient does HEP at home).  RTM requires bi-directional activity that includes both doctor and patient input (1. Doctor gives HEP. 2. Patient does HEP. 3. Digital platform records activity. 4. Doctor remotely reviews activity. 5. Doctor provides digital feedback to patient and adjusts HEP accordingly.)
